Collective tree-planting event held in Indaw Twsp.

With the aim of keeping the environment green and maintaining soil and temperature, a collective tree-planting ceremony took place in the compound of Myoma parityathattih monastery in the town of Indaw, Sagaing Region yesterday morning.

First, staff officer of the Township Forest Department delivered a speech and clarified the purposes of the plantation of the tree saplings.

Chairman of the Township Administration Council U Phone Grain and members, Staff officer of the Township Forest Department handed over the tree saplings to relevant departmental officials and members of social organization, and jointly grew 400 saplings including teak, padauk, Pyingadoe and others in the compound of the monastery.—Lu Aung(Katha)
