Essay contest to mark International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking held in Pyawbwe

Pyawbwe, 19 June

Hailing the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking which falls on June 26, middle school level essay and art of painting competition was held at the community center of Information and Public Relations Department in Pyawbwe Township, Mandalay Region this morning.

First, an official from the Township IPRD clarified the purposes of the contest and explained the discipline to be abode by the participants in the contest.

A total of 47 students including 32 students who will participate in the art of painting contest and 15 students who will participate in the essay contest from Basic Education Middle Schools throughout the Township took part in the contest.—Min Min Htway(Pyawbwe)
