2024 Myanmar Film Academy Award ceremony to include fashion awards
THE
2024 Myanmar Film Academy Awards will include the Myanmar Academy Fashion
Awards, according to U Aye Kyu Lay, Vice Chairman of the Myanmar Motion
Pictures Organization.
These
fashion awards will be given in four categories: Best Dressed Male Grand Award,
Best Dressed Female Grand Award, Best Dressed Male and Best Dressed Female. The
winners will be selected from the artistes attending the ceremony, with a total
of four recipients chosen.
“These
awards were also presented last year. The selection will be led by Academy Swe
Zin Htaik and the panel consists of five members including photographers and
designers,” U Aye Kyu Lay stated.
The
judging panel for the Myanmar Academy Fashion Awards includes Academy Swe Zin
Htaik, John Lwin (Star and Model International), designer Pyi Soe Aung, makeup
artist Khin San Win and photographer Ko Naing (R2). The awards will be
determined based on scores from the judging panel with results announced at
exactly 7 pm. Artistes attending the event are required to arrive by 6:30 pm.
The
2024 Myanmar Film Academy Awards will take place in Nay Pyi Taw on 9 February
2025. The Academy Awards selection panel has assessed 49 films and shortlisted
18 finalists for the final round. Reportedly, a total of 12 awards will be
