78th Anniversary of Union Day Ceremony Held in Paungde Township

A ceremony marking the
78th Anniversary of Union Day, which falls on 12 February every year, was held
at the Township General Administration Department in Paungde Township, Nattalin
District, Bago Region this morning.
The event began with a
national flag-raising ceremony at 5:00 a.m. in front of the Township General
Administration Department office. At 7:30 a.m., the Union Day message, sent by
Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, Chairman of the State Administration Council,
to the 78th Anniversary of Union Day ceremony, was read out by U Soe
Myint Hlaing, Chairman of the Township Administration Body, at Nawarat Hall of
the Township General Administration Department.
The ceremony was
attended by members of the Township Administration Body, members of the Wards
and Villages Administration Body, Heads of Township-level Departments, as well
as representatives from the Township Women’s Affairs Federation, Maternal and
