Relief Supplies for Falam, Tedim and Tonzang Arrive in Kalay

Food
and educational supplies intended for residents, civil servants and their
families in Falam, Tedim and Tonzang townships have arrived in Kalay, Sagaing
Region, and will be transported to the respective towns as soon as possible.
The
supplies, provided by the National Disaster Management Committee, include 10
tons of edible oil—four tons from Yangon and six tons from Mandalay—along with
90 bags of cement and 116 packages of school textbooks and exercise books from
Mandalay. The items were transported to Kalay by Tatmadaw aircraft.
The
Chin State Rehabilitation and Reconstruction Committee is coordinating the
distribution of the supplies to ensure their timely delivery to beneficiaries
in Falam, Tedim and Tonzang townships.— District IPRD
