Teachers brutally killed by terrorists in Sagaing region
January 21
Political extremists
and terrorists who do not want the opening of schools and teaching literature
to young people are committing brutal killings and threats, in addition to
bombing education buildings and schools across the country.
On 19 January, Daw Than
Than Nwe, headmistress of the Daiyauk Basic Education Primary School, was being
shot while she was with her husband and her daughter at home in the afternoon.
Four armed men in black clothes reportedly came to the house and opened fire at
them brutally, and the headmistress and her husband died of gunshot wounds at
the scene and the daughter has been under medical treatment at Taze People’s
Hospital. One A USA 320 Auto bullet and one MM6 NRO Luser bullet were found and
confiscated at the scene.
Similarly, PDF
terrorists holding homemade guns, rods and knives arrived in the Ywathan
village in KhinU Township and called out two teachers, 50 and 55 years old, and
brutally killed them for not joining the CDM campaign at around 10 pm.
It is reported that
local people are disgusted by brutal killings committed by the terrorists, and
local security forces are working hard so that students can study in peace. —
