Over K 6.4 million provided to victims in Mon State

A ceremony to provide cash aids to victims in Chaungson Township in Mon State was held at the Township General Administration Department on May 30.

The strong winds hit the township on May 20 and 21 and it destroyed some houses and a monastery. Due to the strong winds, 11 houses and a monastery totally collapsed and 66 houses were partially destroyed. Therefore, the officials from the Township Administration Council gave cash aids provided by the State Department of Disaster Management to the victims.
