200000 fish fingerlings released into Indawgyi lake

With the aim of preventing the extinction of fish species, a fish planting ceremony was held at the Indawgyi Lake in Monyin Township, Kachin State on 28 July. 


Well-wishers, identifies as U Soe Moe Aung and Daw Nan Kham lau from Sithmu Ward-1 in the town of Myandalay released a total of 200000 fingerlings including 100000 Ngamitchin and 100000 Ngakhunma into Indawgyi Lake to preserve the biodiversity of the lake, according to a member of Shwemitzuyaele Pagoda trustee.


“Besides, U Soe Moe Aung and Daw Nan Kham Lau family will donate Ks. 50 million and stone slabs to new Shweminyu  Monastery”  he added.—Zwe Thura Aung(IPRD)
