Over 550,000 locals in Nyaung-U District receive COVID-19 vaccination

A total of 557,980 people in Nyaung-U District, Mandalay Region have received COVID-19 vaccines until July 20, according to District Administration Council. 

The vaccination programs are being conducted at the designated areas in Kyaukpadaung and Nyaung-U Townships. In Nyaung-U Township, there have been 267,400 people who have received the vaccines and in Kyaukpadaung Township, a total of 290,580 people have already received COVID-19 vaccines. In addition, mobile medical teams are making field trips to conduct vaccination events in remote areas, according to the Chairman of the District Administration Council.
