Floods destroy monsoon paddy field in Minekoke

Torrential downpour hit the town of Minekoke in Mongsat District, Shan State (East) starting from August, 1 and it destroyed monsoon paddy fields in Minelone village-tract in the town of Minekoke. 

Due to the torrential downpour, the water level of Namlone creek has increased. Hence, 11.72 acres of monsoon paddy fields belonging to 25 farmers in the village-tracts were flooded, according to the office of village-tract administrator.
