Village revolving fund project handed over to 17 villages in Meiktila Twsp.

With the aim of boosting the income of local people and their socio-economic status, official from the Township Department of Rural Development disbursed village revolving fund project to 17 villages in Meiktila Township. The disbursement of fund is the third of its kind in the Township.

On the occasion, an official from the township Department of Rural Development gave a speech and clarified the purposes of the project and disbursed Ks. 400.0 million to members of village revolving fund project committee from 17 villages in the Township.

Altogether 1173 people – 903 people in agriculture business, 256 in live stocks breeding, one in commodity production business and six in trading business from 17 villages in the Township received fund of the projects.—Thein Myint Kyaw(Meiktila)
