Concrete road put into service in Taungdwingyi Twsp.

A ceremony to open a concrete road was held at the entrance of the road in Sibintharyar Village in Taungdwingyi Township, Magway Region this morning.
During the ceremony, Chairman of the Township Administration Council U Kyaw Zin Oo delivered an opening speech. Next, an official from the Township DRD discussed matters relating to the construction works of the road. Then, village administrator spoke words of thanks to the government for opening the road.
Afterwards, chairman of the Township Administration Council U Kyaw Zin Oo, member-1 of the Township Administration Council Major Thet Khaing Tun, member-2 of the Township Administration Council U Hla Thaung and staff officer of the Township Department of Rural Development U Khup Mung Lian cut a ceremonial ribbon to formally open the road.
The concrete road measuring 860 ft. in length, 12 ft. in width and six inches in thickness was constructed with Ks. 11.0 million including Ks. 10 million of DRD’s allotted funds in 2022-2023 fiscal years and one million contributed by local people.—Than Lwin(Magway)
