Construction of rural road in Daik-U Township completed 85%

Officials from the Township Department of Rural Development inspected construction works of rural road in Thapyaedan Village in Daik-U Township, Bago Region this morning.

During the inspection tour, personnel led by U Aung Myint Tun, staff officer of the Township Department of Rural Development met with officials from construction Company and community leaders and gave necessary instructions.

A road which is 400 ft. in length, 14 ft. in width and two ft. in thickness and a road measuring 9042 ft. in length, 12 ft. in width and six inches in thickness have been constructed since the first week of June this year by a tender winning company with Ks. 112.1 million allocated by the Union Government in 2022-2023 fiscal year and now, it was completed 85 percent, according to an official from the Township Department of Rural Development.—U Nyo Win Aung (DRD)
