VDP in 13 villages in Paukkhaung Township completed

Village developmental projects in 13 villages in Paukkhaung Township, Pyay District, Bago Region were inspected  and all have been completed by hundred percent, according to an official from the Township Department of Rural Development.

The construction of concrete road and installation of power line were conducted with the supervision of officials and technical aids provided by responsible engineers starting from first week of July.

In the township, village developmental works were conducted in 66 villages with the funds of 660 million starting from 2017-2018 FY to 2022-2023 FY. In addition, it is earmarked to implement developmental works in five villages as an additional project.

Upon completion, it will bring socioeconomic development to 6108 people from 1597 households.
