Create happy and smooth trips for travellers

Global countries are striving for
the resumption of tourism industries as infection of Covid-19 declines. As the
infection rate of the pandemic declines to less than 1 per cent for many days,
it is time for Myanmar to accelerate the implementation of the tourism sector
under the restrictions of Covid-19 issued by the Ministry of Health.
The tourism industry creates more
than 320 million employments across the world and supports 10 per cent of the
world’s GDP, according to the records of the World Tourism Organization. As the
tourism service contributes much to the development of micro, small and
medium-scale enterprises, more than 200 countries including Myanmar are trying
to resume operations of tourism industries.
Being an agro-based country,
Myanmar should seek new advice and ways for widely designating agri-based
tourism, farming-based tourism and educational tourism like the Mount Popa
Geo-tourism service. Moreover, it is necessary to shape the potential towns and
villages as tourism cities and villages in related regions and states.
As of this open season, the
tourism industry has resumed as usual in Myanmar. Hence, the countries with
good relations with Myanmar and neighbouring countries will initially be
targeted as the tourism market of Myanmar. That is why tourism services are
trying hard to introduce Myanmar’s significant tourism products and services to
the global tourism arena through the digital platform.
At the same time, tourist
attractions and services of Myanmar must be introduced through Myanmar
embassies to relevant global countries for international tourists to pay visits
to Myanmar in order to improve the tourism industry.
Actually, the tourism industry is
not designed to give services to customers by producers similar to that of
other businesses but consumers reach the producers for enjoying the services.
As such, producers of traditional products and handicrafts in regions and
states can take advantage of introducing these products and services to
customers. Attracting tourists and travellers with the use of domestic products
can create job opportunities in relevant areas.
Micro, small and medium-scale
enterprises and various tourism services are relying on each other. Both
businesses can contribute much to the socioeconomic status of the people and
the nation. Primarily, tourism services must give good services to customers
with convenience in all aspects. Hence, all service providers of the tourism
industry must assist with the basic needs of local and international travellers
along their trips starting from their arrival to their departure to improve
Myanmar’s tourism industry.
