Youth and Literary Arts Exhibition concludes successfully

The Youth and Literary Arts
Exhibition held as a gesture of hailing Diamond Jubilee Independence Day
continued its fourth day at the Myanmar International Convention Centre-II in
Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
As it was last day of the
exhibition, the booths of the ministries concerned and the Myanmar Maternal and
Child Welfare Association were crowded with visitors.
The students and youths were
interested in the displays of Nay Pyi Taw Police Force as they featured
security, the rule of law and criminal cases, public services, capacity
building, cartoon displays of traffic rules and regulations, actions on
gambling and other matters and special security equipment used by the Ministry
of Home Affairs.
Moreover, the Ministry of
Transport and Communications displayed the transportation services including the
shipbuilding processes, research paper, water flow metre and satellite-based
location altimeter of the Directorate of Water Resources and Improvement of
River Systems.
Similarly, the booths of the Road
Transport Administration Department featured the diesel engine, traffic rules,
and vehicles used in different times of history and the displays of Myanma
Railways included Yangon circular train, railway, diesel-electric locomotives
and other locomotives.
The students and youths also
observed the cyber security section and the Myanmar Posts and
Telecommunications also conducted MPT Sim Card registration and MPT Pay Account
services at their booths.
The students, youths and cultural
dancing troupes participated in fun fair games and quizzes.
Moreover, officials displayed the
movie-making materials of Kyee Myat Thaw Myanmar film, the first 3D film in
Myanmar.
The booths of the Ayeyawady
Region also featured the making of Pathein parasol and the region’s food.
The festival intends to encourage
students to read books and journals, know the benefits of literature, uplift
patriotic spirit and dignity through arts with the knowledge of the history of
independence and know peace, stability and development of the country including
the lovely culture of rural regions and to love their regions and states via
photo contests and to understand activities of ministries concerned through the
