Construction of rural road in Kanbalu Township completed 100%
Kanbalu, 23 January
With the aim of ensuring swift flow of commodity, a rural road and three box culverts on the road have been constructed since the second week of June last year in Natpe Village in Kanbalu Township, Sagaing Region and now, all the projects were completed 100 percent.
Personnel from the Township Department of Rural Development and members of village development committee inspected the completion of the construction work this morning and met with members of construction Company and stressed the importance of quality construction and maintenance.
The rural road measuring two miles in length, 12 ft. in width and two ft. and nine inches in volume and three box culverts on the road have been constructed by Globalize construction Company with Ks. 92.75 million of DRD’s allotted funds in 2022-2023 FY.
Once completed, it will benefit 700 acres of farmland of nearby villages in the Township, according to an official from the Township Department of Rural Development.—Aung Wan Nyein(Kanbalu)
