Loans disbursed to implement emerald green projects in Pyu Twsp.

With the aim of boosting the income of rural people and their socio-economic status, loans for implementation of emerald green projects were dispensed to members of village emerald green project committee at the Dhamayone of Inkyingon Village in Pyu Township, Bago Region on 16 January. The disbursement of loan is the fourth of its kind in the village.

 

During the event, an official from the Township Department of Rural Development clarified the purposes of the project and explained rules and regulations of the emerald green projects to be abode by members of village emerald green project committee.

Under this loans project, altogether 94 people - 29 people in agriculture business, 21 in livestock breeding business and 44 in trading business received Ks. 37.8 million.—Ko Nyo (DRD)
