Mass vaccination campaign against rabies conducted in Kengtung Twsp.

 

Kengtung, 10 January

A mass vaccination campaign against rabies has been conducted free of charge since 9 January at the office of the Township Livestock Breeding and Veterinary Department in Kengtung Township, Shan State (East).

Medical workers led by Dr. Myo Naing from the Township Livestock Breeding and Veterinary Department visited to the villages in the Township and vaccinated dogs aged three-month and above with anti-rabies vaccine.

Medical workers will continue to give anti-rabies vaccine to dogs aged three-month  and above from January 9 to 13 and will give certificates to the owners of dogs in the Township.—Aung Zin Myint(IPRD)
