Officials inspect construction works of rural road in Kyunsu Township

Kyunsu, 6 January

Staff from Department of Rural Development led by staff officer U Aung Kyaw Oo inspected the construction works of the gravel type road in Peyar Village in Kyunsu Township of Tanintharyi Region on 5 January.

During the inspection tour, officials met with members of the Construction Committee and instructed to meet the construction deadlines.

The gravel type road measuring 5855 ft. in length, 12 ft. in width and two ft. and nine inches in thickness has been constructed since July 15 this year by DRD with Ks. 76.8 million allocated by regional government in 2022-2023 FY.

One completed, it will benefit 1345 people from 240 families in the village, helping them transport rural products to the markets in a timely manner, according to an official from the Township Department of Rural Development.—Myint Oo(Myeik)
