SAC members, Union ministers, religious leaders, people’s militia leaders, peace groups meet in Kayah State

 



State Administration Council members, Union ministers, re­ligious leaders, people’s militia leaders and peace groups met at the meeting room of the gov­ernment office of Kayah State on 15 January.


SAC members Saw Dan­iel, U Sai Lon Seng and U Shwe Kyein, Union Ministers Lt-Gen Tun Tun Naung and U Saw Tun Aung Myint, Chief Minister of Kayah State U Zaw Myo Tin, Commander of the Eastern Command Maj-Gen Hla Moe, deputy ministers Dr Aung Zaya and Dr Aye Tun and leaders of all religions, leaders of people’s militia troops (lo­cal), peace groups, leaders of border guard forces attended the meeting.


First, SAC member Saw Daniel said that it will be nec­essary to bring peace together in the state, that local devel­opment activities cannot be carried out if there is no peace, that it is necessary for the peo­ple of wards and villages to participate in economic, social, health activities in the state to be smooth and good.


After that, SAC members U Sai Lon Seng and U Shwe Kyein extended greeting speeches and religious lead­ers of various in Kayah State, People’s militia troops, and peace groups who attended the meeting also presented their respective activities.


Next, SAC member Saw Daniel gave New Year com­memorative gifts to leaders of various religions. Union Minister for Border Affairs Lt-Gen Tun Tun Naung gave cash assistance to members of the state police force, peo­ple’s militia troops (local), peace groups, border guard forces and internally displaced person.


Then, SAC member Saw Daniel delivered the conclud­ing speech and friendly met attendees. — MNA/KZW
