SAC Vice-Chairman Deputy Prime Minister Vice-Senior General Soe Win attends inauguration of exhibitions, traditional food booths, decorated floats marking 75th Anniversary (Diamond Jubilee) Independence Day 2023

 



State Administration Council Vice-Chairman Deputy Prime Minister Vice-Senior General Soe Win yesterday afternoon attended the ceremony to unveil the 75th Anniversary (Diamond Jubilee) Independence Day 2023 commemorative booths, traditional food booths and decorated floats at Tabaung Ground, south of Nay Pyi Taw Uppatasanti Pagoda.


The Vice-Senior General, Council members Mahn Nyein Maung and U Saw Daniel, Un­ion Minister U Maung Maung Ohn and Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman U Tin Oo Lwin un­veiled the booths.


Nay Pyi Taw Council Chair­man U Tin Oo Lwin presented commemorative gifts to the Vice-Senior General.


Ethnic traditional choral dance troupes from Nay Pyi Taw Council, regions and states presented the song “Pyae Ya­dana”.


The Vice-Senior Gener­al and party cordially greeted the dance troupes and viewed round the 75th Anniversary (Diamond Jubilee) Independ­ence Day 2023 commemorative booths and traditional foods booths.


The booths and decorated floats exhibition will last from 4 to 8 January. The exhibition comprises 25 booths of min­istries, 15 booths of Nay Pyi Taw, regions and states and 15 booths of traditional foods, totalling 55, showing 26 deco­rated floats from ministries, 15 decorated floats from Nay Pyi Taw and regions and states, a decorated float marking the In­dependence Day a Union dec­orated float and five decorated floats for Tatmadaw, totalling 48. Admission is free for people.


Visitors are requested to understand systematic inspec­tion and searching of securi­ty forces at entries and exits of the town and exhibitions. —MNA/TTA
