Students aged five to 12 were given booster dose of COVID-19 vaccine at the designated vaccination sites of No.1 B.E.H.S. and No. 7 B.E.P.S. in South Okkalapa Township, Yangon Region this morning.
Under the supervision of Chairman of the Township Administration Council U Aung Myat Moe and members, the Township Police Chief Police Major Soe Nyunt, the Township medical superintendent Dr. Aye Aye Moe, staff officer of the Township Education officer office Daw Khin Aye Win, teachers and volunteers participated in the vaccination campaign and provided necessary assistance to healthcare workers.
A total of 320 students aged five to 12 including 261 students from B.E.H.S.-1, 57 from Myintmyat private school, two from B.E.M.S.-2 and one from B.E.P.S.-12 were given their booster dose of COVID-19 vaccine in the designated vaccination site of B.E.H.S.-1 in the Township.
Similarly, a total of 190 students aged five to 12 including 55 students from B.E.M.S.-2, 90 from B.E.P.S.-7, 34 from B.E.P.S.-8 and seven from B.E.M.S.-4, four from B.E.P.S.-12 were vaccinated against COVID-19 at vaccination site of B.E.M.S.-7. On the occasion altogether 510 students aged five to 12 were received their booster dose of COVID-19 vaccine.—Htet Htet (IPRD)
