Knowledge-dissemination talk on nuclear technology held in Yangon

The knowledge-dissemina­tion talk on nuclear technology co-organized by the Ministry of Science and Technology and Ro­satom State Atomic Energy Cor­poration of Russia was held at the Nuclear Technology Informa­tion Centre in Hline Township, Yangon, yesterday morning.

Union Minister for Science and Technology Dr Myo Thein Kyaw and officials, Director-Gen­eral Mr Alexey Likhachev of Rosatom and officials, students from technological universities, computer universities and med­ical universities attended the ceremony.

After Union Minister Dr Myo Thein Kyaw gave an opening remark, Rosatom Director-General Mr Alexey Likhachev explained the kno­whow about nuclear technology. He also replied to queries raised by attendee students.

A press briefing then fol­lowed regarding the opening of the Nuclear Technology Infor­mation Centre and the Rosa­tom director-general answered questions put forward by corre­spondents. —MNA/TS
