Only when the amount of circulated money rises in the nation will the government serve the interests of the citizens: Senior General





Public service personnel are to follow disciplines under the Constitution and they must be loyal to themselves, their depart­ments and their companions, as well as the State, State Ad­ministration Council Chairman Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, was quoted as saying at the meeting with Ayeyawady Region government and departmental officials at the lounge of Pathein Airport yester­day afternoon.


First, the Senior General delivered a speech, saying that Ayeyawady Region has booming businesses of agriculture and livestock farms and local people are making greater efforts for increasing more per-acre yield than now. Only when per-acre yield increases, can products be exported to foreign countries to improve the State economy. Con­sequently, the government can earn increased revenue. Only when the amount of circulated money rises in the nation will the government be able to serve the interests of the citizens.


The Senior General stressed the need to improve the tourism industry to develop the economy of the region. All the people need to create clean and pleasant en­virons at their homes as well as roads.


Staff need to do office works with goodwill under dis­cipline and keep all office clean and pleasant.


Public service personnel are to follow disciplines under the Constitution and they must be loyal to themselves, their depart­ments and companions as well as the State. The Senior Gen­eral noted that arrangements must be made for creating the entitlement and rights of staff. They all have to look on each other as family members and solve social and family problems. Public service personnel are to act properly do for the sake of the people and they have to try for themselves to be accepted by the people. The government has provided accommodation facilities to public service per­sonnel. It cannot be said to be complete fulfilment but these facilities can contribute to their life to some extent.


While encouraging school learning for all school-age chil­dren, the government has ar­ranged a KG+9 learning scheme for all citizens. Public service personnel are to encourage their offspring to have higher education standards. The Senior General stressed the need for Ayeyawady Region to become a model in the agriculture sector among other regions and states.
