Concrete road opens to mark 76th anniversary of Armed forces Day in Mongnai Twsp.

Opening ceremony of a concrete road marking 76th  anniversary of the Armed Forces Day (Tatmadaw Day) was held at the entrance of the road in Panlaw Village in Mongnai Township, Shan State(South) this morning.

During the ceremony, member of the Township Administration Council U Ngo Bwe delivered an opening speech. Afterwards, secretary of the Township Administration Council Police Major Than Aung and member-1 of the Township Administration Council Major Aung Ko Tun cut a ceremonial ribbon to formally open the road.

The road measuring 600 ft. in length, 12 ft. in width and six inches in thickness was constructed with Ks. 16.0 million including Ks. 10 million of DRD’s allotted fund in 2022-2023 fiscal year and Ks. 6 million contributed by local people. The road will benefit 78 local people from 22 households in the village.—Township IPRD
