Myanmar beat Laos 4-0 in Japan Invitational Tourney

The Myanmar U-17 Women’s Team played against Laos U-17 Women’s Team in the 2022 JE­NESYS U-17 Women’s Football Memorial Cup held under the Japan-ASEAN Friendship and Cultural Exchange Programme in Okinawa, Japan yesterday.

Team Myanmar trounced Laos 4-0 in the invitational cup game.

Myanmar scored three goals in the first half and one more goal in the second half to secure their big win, accord­ing to the statement from the Myanmar Football Federation.

The Myanmar U-17 wom­en’s team will play against Ja­pan’s Okinawa team for fifth place on 21 March. — KZL
