SAC Chairman PM Senior General Min Aung Hlaing receives delegation of Fund RC-Investments from the Russian Federation

 

 

Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing re­ceived the delegation led by Mr Shatirov Alexander Sergeevich, Director of Fund RC-Investments from the Russian Federation at the parlour of the SAC Chairman Office in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday afternoon.

They cordially exchanged views on manufacturing val­ue-added products with the use of minerals and natural resourc­es of Myanmar, plans to conduct research for the conservation of natural resources, exporting ag­ricultural and livestock products as well as marine products from Myanmar to Russia, promotion of bilateral trade, production of modern furniture and other equipment by using forest prod­ucts of Myanmar and technology, production of pulp, cooperation in the enhancement of direct avia­tion transport and tourism sec­tors between the two countries, plans of Russia to do research on Myanmar’s promotion of transport sector, investments of Russia in Myanmar, further pro­motion of bilateral relations and cooperation, and future plans.

The Senior General and the Russian Director exchanged commemorative gifts and had documentary photos taken to­gether with attendees.

Also present at the meeting were SAC Joint Secretary Lt-Gen Ye Win Oo and Union Minister for Investment and Foreign Eco­nomic Relations Dr Kan Zaw. The Russian Director was ac­companied by delegation mem­bers and officials of the Russian Embassy in Myanmar. — MNA/ TTA
