Water supply projects in Hpa-an Township completed

With the aim of distributing purified drinking water to rural areas in Hpa-an Township, Hpa-an Township Department of Rural Development is implementing water distribution project in five villages in the township. Now, all have been completed by hundred percent.

In the villages, digging 200 ft deep tube wells, construction of water tankers capable of storing 2400 gallons of water and related works were conducted with K 79.84 million allocated by funds of Kayin State Government. The projects were conducted by a tender winning company starting from June 8, 2022.

Upon completion, people from the villages will be available enough drinking water in all seasons.
