Tatmadaw (Air) continues transporting foodstuffs, relief items to Rakhine State

THE relief materials and food items contributed by the families of Tatmadaw (Army, Navy and Air) and well-wishers and relief supplies provided by the National Disaster Management Committee for local communities affected by the natural disaster in Rakhine State are being transported by Tatmadaw aircraft, helicopters and vessels.

 

Foodstuffs, purified drinking water, plastic containers, medical accessories, rehabilitation accessories, and household goods donated by the families of Tatmadaw (Army, Navy and Air) were transported from Nay Pyi Taw Airport to Sittway Airport twice yesterday by Tatmadaw plane.

 

Tatmadaw members, police force members, relief teams, departmental officials, tinned fish, soap bars, detergent powder, clothes, construction material, tarpaulin sheets and foodstuffs were also transported from Mingaladon Airport to Sittway Airport by Tatmadaw plane.

 

The officials checked the donations and donated food and cash.

 

Officials in the respective areas received relief supplies and will distribute them to storm victims. — MNA/KZW
