Above 87% of nationwide demographic survey work completed

According to the data from the Ministry of Immigration and Population, more than 87 per cent of the field survey work for the ground population census has been completed in all regions and states.

 

The current statistics gathered by regions and states were checked by the officials of the township immigration offices, filled into the e-ID server online, and corrections on differences in the information are being made.

 

The ministry is also conducting surveys in some townships that remain to be surveyed due to the security measures. The ministry conducted a household census of 11.9 million households compared with the list extracted by the e-ID software and 2.8 million households from the ground survey, accounting for 87.92 per cent of completion rate as of 31 May 2023. — TWA/CT
