Centennial exhibition of Pyinmana Agriculture School bustling with visitors

Tin Htut met farmers from eight townships of the Nay Pyi Taw Union Territory
visiting the exhibition to mark the centenary of Agriculture School in Pyinmana
yesterday. The exhibition, which was held on the campus of the Agriculture
Institute (Pyinmana), featured a 100-year-old ancient building and ancient
farming equipment, laboratory equipment, and carpentry tools used in successive
eras, as well as booths of agricultural science curriculum, modern farming
machinery equipment, exhibits on agricultural water supply, seeds and
agricultural inputs from companies specializing in agriculture, and
agricultural equipment showrooms.
At the exhibition, departmental
officials demonstrated use of agricultural equipment.
The campus of the Agriculture
Institute (Pyinmana) was established by Mr Brayton Clarke Case in 1923 and it
was designated by the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture as ancient
building Napata No 3001, making it the first-ever ancient building in the Nay
