COVID-19 vaccination program conducted at schools in Hlaingbwe Township

COVID-19 vaccination program was conducted at basic schools in Hlaingbwe Township, Hpa-an District, Kayin State. Officials from the Township Health and Medical Services Department made a field trip to give COVID-19 vaccine to students aged 5 and 18 in basic schools starting from 5 June. 

The officials vaccinated those who have not received first dose and students with first dose. In addition, those who received second dose were given their booster dose of COVID-19 vaccine.

The officials from the Township Education Officer’s Office, Heads of the basic schools and officials from the Township Health and Medical Services Department are planning to conduct COVID-19 vaccination program at the remaining schools, according to the officials from the Township Health and Medical Services Department.
