Students aged five to 12 received booster dose of COVID-19 vaccine in Kyeintali Town

 

Kyeintali, 20 June

Students aged five to 12 received their booster dose of COVID-19 vaccine at the B.E.P.S in Sanpya Village in the town of Kyeintali, Thandwe District of Rakhine State yesterday morning.

On the occasion, medical workers from the Town Department of Public Health monitored the body temperature and blood pressure of the students before administering the vaccine to them and watched them for 30 minutes after giving the vaccine in collaboration with the volunteers in line with COVID-19 health regulations set by Ministry of Health. 

Under this vaccination program, a total of 310 students from Basic Education Schools in the town of Kyeintali received their booster dose of COVID-19 vaccine, according to an official from the Township Department of Public Health.—Zaw Lin (IPRD)
