Construction work of concrete bridge in Hpa-an Township inspected

Personnel from the Township Department of Rural Development inspected the construction work of concrete bridge on the road linking Chyankalay-Thamingon Villages in Hpa-an Township of Kayin State this morning.

During the inspection tour, staff led by U Thura Lwin, staff officer of the Township DRD met with officials from the construction Company and instructed to meet the construction deadlines.

The construction work of concrete bridge which is 20 ft. in length, 14 ft. in width and 10 ft. in height has been implemented since May 26 this year by Dhana Toe Pwa Construction Company with Ks. 35.64 million allocated by the state government and all the projects have been completed about 75 percent so far, according to an official from the Township Department of Rural Development.

Once completed, the bridge will benefit 748 local people from 120 households in the Two villages and nearby villages in the Township.—Ngelay
