Monsoon agricultural loans disbursed to farmers in Paung Township

Monsoon agricultural loans have been disbursed to farmers since May this year in Paung Township, Mon State by the Township Myanmar Agricultural Development Bank.

On July 6, an event to disburse monsoon agricultural loans was held at the bank. At the event, U Yin Htay, manager of the Township Myanmar Agricultural Development Bank clarified the purposes of the disbursement of the loans and gave necessary instructions to farmers.

Under this loans project, the bank disbursed Ks. 416.85 million for 2779 acres of monsoon paddy at a rate of Ks. 150,000 per acre to a total of 310 farmers from Yinnyein (north) Village and Kawhtaw Village in the Township.

It is allocated to disburse a total of Ks. 950.00 million of monsoon agricultural loans to farmers from 47 villages in the Township for 63333 acres of farmland. The bank disburses monsoon agricultural loans at a rate of K 150,000 per acre in the Township, according to the Bank Manager.—Township IPRD
