Officials inspect construction work of concrete road in Haingbwe Township

Officials from the District Department of Rural Development inspected the concrete paving work of road in Hlakazai Village in Hlaingbwe Township, Kayin State this morning.
During the inspection tour, officials led by U Zaw Win, staff officer of the District DRD met members of the construction Company and stressed the importance of quality construction and maintenance.
Construction work of concrete road which is three furlongs in length, 12 ft. in width and six inches in volume has been implemented since May 23 this year by a tender winning company with Ks. 55.91 million allocated by the regional government and now, all the projects have been completed about 60 percent so far, according to an official from the District Department of Rural Development.
Once completed, the road will benefit 1336 local people from 229 households in Hlakazai Village in Hlaingbwe Township, Kayin State.—Ngelay
