Mobile medics provide healthcare services in Myitkyina, Lashio
The mobile medical unit of the Northern Command provided healtcare services to members of the Sangha at the Myo Oo Monastery in Myitkyina, Kachin State, yesterday morning.
A total of 101 monks received necessary healthcare services for surgical diseases, osteoarthritis diseases, and general illnesses. Arrangements were made for monks who needed a heart examination with an ECG machine, X-rays, and hospitalization to be admitted to the local military hospital for treatment.
Similarly, the local medical team of the North-East Command delivered necessary healthcare services related to eye diseases, dental health, surgical diseases, ear, nose, and throat diseases, and general diseases to 21 residents and 91 nuns from the Sasana Hitakari Nunnery in Lashio, Shan State (North). They also provided diagnosis and examination to people with ECG and Ultrasound machines.
Military commanders and officials from the relevant commands observed the services and made offerings of food to the monks. — MNA/CT
