Monsoon agricultural loans disbursed to farmers in Thabaung Township

Myanma Agricultural Development Bank in Thabaung Township, Pathein District, Ayeyawady Region is dispensing monsoon agricultural loans to farmers in the township on 23 August.

The bank disburses the agricultural loans to the farmers who have paid back the previous debt at a rate of K 150,000 per acre of paddy. The bank has disbursed monsoon agircultural loans to a total of 135 farmers who have paid back their debt. 

The disbursement of monsoon agricultural loans was conducted starting from May and it continues until September. It is earmarked to dispense monsoon agricultural loans to 36,500 acres of farmland, accoridng to the bank manager.
