MMPO hosts gathering party of film course trainees (1956-2019)

 

A gathering for trainees from film courses spanning 1956 to 2019 took place at the Myanmar Motion Pictures Organization in Bahan Township, Yangon Region, at 10 am on 9^th April, according to Patron U Aung Lwin of the Myanmar Motion Pictures Or­ganization.

 

The gathering was attended by U Kyi Soe Tun, Chairman of the Myanmar Motion Pictures Organization, Vice-Chairman U Aye Kyu Lay, director Academy Zinyaw Maung Maung, Academy Swe Zin Hitke, Academy Khant Si Thu, Academy Khaing Khin Oo, and other actors, scriptwriters, and directors.

 

Speaking at the event, U Aung Lwin highlighted its sig­nificance in the history of film. He noted that while some have passed away, many former train­ees have become prominent figures in the film industry. He emphasized the organization’s commitment to preserving the film heritage as it evolves.

 

The Myanmar Motion Pic­tures Organization has been con­ducting film courses for actors, actresses, scriptwriters, direc­tors, editors, and industrial work­ers for 78 years, aiming to nurture new talent over generations.
