MoE Union Minister receives EEC Minister in Charge of Integration & Macroeconomics

 

Union Minister for Energy U Ko Ko Lwin met Minister in Charge of Integration and Macroeconomics of the Eur­asian Economic Commission Mr Sergei Glazev and his delegation in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.

 

They discussed various topics, including enhancing energy collaboration between Myanmar and member coun­tries of the Eurasian Econom­ic Commission, strategically constructing an oil refinery in Myanmar and distribut­ing and selling petroleum products, importing Lique­fied Natural Gas (LNG) and exploring potential markets for selling LNG domestical­ly and to regional countries, research plans for increas­ing productivity of petroleum and natural gas in potential blocks, and investment plans of Russian companies in the energy sector. — MNA/ TMT
