Rice, relief supplies donated to flood-hit people in Nay Pyi Taw




THAMADA Foundation and well-wishers led by Abbot of Nanda Aungmyay Monastery of Leikpyakan Monastery Maha Saddhammajotikadha­ja Aggamaha Saddham­majotikadhaja Aggamaha Kammathanacariya Leading patron of Nanda Aungmyay Foundation Dr Bhaddanta Nimala from North Ngahtet­gyi Ward of Bagan Township, Yangon, donated cash and kind for flood-hit people from flood-ravaged Toungoo, Pyin­mana, Tatkon and Yamethin townships at Thamada robe house on old Yedashe road in Bahan Township yesterday afternoon.


The Thamada Foundation, Myanmar Hoteliers Associa­tion and well-wishers donated male and female clothes, blan­kets and bags of rice, and the leading patron Sayadaw of the Nanda Aungmyay Foundation, Kyanigan Monastery Sayad­aw, Arthawka Dhamma Yeik­tha Monastery Sayadaw and Chindwin Monastery Sayad­aw, utensils of members of the Sangha and personal goods to actor academy Nay Aung.


The total value of dona­tions amounted to some K100 million for flood victims in Nay Pyi Taw Council Area.


Reportedly, academy Nay Aung will present these dona­tions to the victims.
