Aungban-produced Chinese cabbage and chayote receive orders from Yangon
CHINESE cabbage and chayote produced
from Shan State’s Aungban have received orders from Yangon Region.
Of the two vegetables, Chinese cabbage
price has increased but the chayote price has been steady.
“At present, there are many Yangon’s
orders for Chinese cabbage and chayote. In Aungban, Chinese cabbage price has
elevated while the price of chayote has been steady. Now Chinese cabbage is
produced again,” said an official from Aye Myat Aungban vegetables retail and
wholesale trading.
Recently in Aungban vegetables market,
cabbages have also received orders from northern Shan State. “Recently,
cabbages have been also sold well and the price has been high. Aungban is
