4,754 oil palm acres in Taninthayi, Kawthoung set for privatization
THE
Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation called for an open tender to
Myanmar citizens for leasing 4,754 acres of oil palm in the Taninthayi and
Kawthoung areas, the Tender Acceptance and Evaluation Committee stated.
The
Department of Agriculture’s Perennial Crop Division will lease 2,000 acres of
oil palm in Taninthayi Township and 2,753 acres in Kawthoung Township
following tender rules and regulations.
Tender
forms are available to take out on 3-14 February at the Agriculture Department
(Office 43) in Nay Pyi Taw. The submission deadline is at 1 pm 17 February.
