4,754 oil palm acres in Taninthayi, Kawthoung set for privatization

 

THE Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation called for an open ten­der to Myanmar citizens for leasing 4,754 acres of oil palm in the Taninthayi and Kawthoung areas, the Tender Ac­ceptance and Evaluation Committee stated.

 

The Department of Agriculture’s Perennial Crop Division will lease 2,000 acres of oil palm in Taninthayi Town­ship and 2,753 acres in Kawthoung Township following tender rules and regulations.

 

Tender forms are available to take out on 3-14 February at the Agriculture Department (Office 43) in Nay Pyi Taw. The submission deadline is at 1 pm 17 February. Individuals can contact details via the contact numbers of the department 067 3410210 and 067 341118. — NN/KK
