Cambodian Mohasangharajah of Dhammayuttika Nikaya visits International Theravada Buddhist Missionary University in Yangon

The members of the Sangha led by His Holiness Samdech Preah Abhisiri Sugandha Mohasangharajah Dhipati Dr Bour Kry from Dhammayuttika Nikaya who is one of the Adhipati Sayadaws in Cambodia, currently in Myanmar, visited the International Theravada Buddhist Missionary University, in Yangon yesterday.

 

The Cambodian Supreme Patriarch first met Rector Sayadaw Aggamaha Pandita Maha Dhammakathika Bahujanahitadhara Dr Bhaddanta Chekinda and discussed efforts for continuous propagation of the Theravada Buddhism, admissions for Buddha Dhamma training courses of the International Theravada Buddhist Missionary University for Cambodian monks, nuns and citizens and other religious matters.

 

Afterwards, the two Sayadaws exchanged gifts, and the Cambodian Adhipati Sayadaw viewed around the classrooms. — MNA/KTZH
