‘Gangaw Ni’ romance film set for release this month
THE upcoming Myanmar film named ‘Gangaw
Ni’, based on a well-known university romance novel by writer Min Lu, is set to
hit theatres in the fourth week of February.
Renowned scriptwriter Lwin Min Ank has
adapted the popular love story, which takes place in a university setting into
a film. The production is handled by Khaye Phyu Film Production, with Academy
winner Wyne directing.
Since the film stays true to the
original title and storyline, it is expected to resonate deeply with audiences
nostalgic for classic university love stories. It revolves around the romantic
journey of Khin May Tint, a technical institute student and Soe Chit, a Myanmar
literature student from Yangon University.
The movie boasts a talented cast,
including Alin Yaung, Academy winner Phway Phway, Chan Min Ye Htut and Shwe
