ITC Thagaya to offer industrial skills training in May
NO 3 Industrial Training Center Thagaya
located in Yedashe Township, Bago Region, will offer one-year industrial
skilled training from 19 May 2025 to 8 April 2026.
The ITC Thagaya will conduct a Machinery
Course, CAD/CAM Course, Electrician Course, Electronic Course and Foundry
Course with 30 per cent of theoretical learning and 70 per cent of practical
approaches. Each course is limited to 30 trainees in maximum.
Those interested who have taken the
matriculation exam under the old curriculum or new curriculum between the ages
of 17 and 25 are eligible to attend the courses. They must be unmarried,
healthy and fit enough to complete the courses and committed to follow the
rules.

through the website (https://industry.gov.mm) and the No 3 Industrial Training
Centre - Thagaya Facebook page. The deadline for submission of the application
is 4 pm on 25 March 2025.
Furthermore, a citizenship scrutiny
card, three licensed photos, a ward administrator’s recommendation, a police
clearance certificate, a health certificate, a recommendation letter that they
have attended Grade 11 under the old curriculum or Grade 12 under the new
curriculum or matriculation exam pass certificate, vaccination certificate for
COVID-19 are required to be provided.
The entrance exam for qualified
applicants will take place on 2-4 April at ITC Thagaya, in aspects of English,
Mathematics and general knowledge related to industry. Interviews will proceed
at the centre as well. Trainees will be provided dormitory, K45,000 monthly
stipends for food costs and K40,000 worth two uniforms. Those who complete the
