New Concrete Road Inaugurated in Mongyawng Township

A new concrete road, constructed by the District Fisheries Department with a budget of K 6.0 million under the Emerald Green Project, was inaugurated yesterday in Wan Pyo Village, Hwangkyat Village Tract, Mongyawng Township, Shan State (East).

 

During the ceremony, the new concrete road, which is 140 feet long, 9 feet wide, and 6 inches high, was officially opened by District Administrator U Tun Tun Naing, the staff officer of the District Fisheries Department, and other officials.

 

The inauguration was attended by 54 people, including the Chairman of the District Administration Body and District Administrator U Tun Tun Naing, the Chairman of the Township Administration Body and Township Administrator U Soe Thet Swe, Township-level departmental officials, and local elders. After the ceremony, the officials toured the newly constructed road.— Township IPRD
