Yangon hosts second direct medicine sale event; More centres to open in Bago Region
THE Myanmar Pharmaceutical and Medical Equipment Entrepreneurs Association organized the second direct sale of medicines by pharmaceutical companies to the public at 9 am on 3 February at the Myanmar Trade Promotion Organization (MyanTrade) in Pabedan Township. The event aims to make it easier and more convenient for people to find and purchase medicines in one place.
The direct sale of medicines will run for five days, from Monday to Friday, 3 to 7 February, featuring a variety of medicines from 61 pharmaceutical companies. The event will be open daily from 9 am to 4 pm.
Doctors and pharmaceutical experts will be present at the exhibition to provide consultations and guidance to assist buyers in purchasing medicines.
This month, more direct medicine sales centres will be opened in Bago Region. The Association previously organized the first direct sales of medicines in Yangon, Nay Pyi Taw, and Bago in July and August 2024. — Myo Min Thura/MKKS
