Earthquake-Affected Residents in Maha Aung Myay Township Receive Cash Assistance

Residents affected by the recent earthquake in Maha Aung Myay Township, Mandalay Region, received cash assistance this morning at the Ward Administration Office in Ward 18.

Chairman of the Maha Aung Myay Township Administration Council, U Maung Maung, along with departmental officials, visited the site where the relief aid was being distributed. He offered words of encouragement to the earthquake-affected residents during the visit.

A total of 5,748 people received financial assistance amounting to K30,442,200, with each individual receiving K5,296.38. The cash aid was distributed by Chairman U Maung Maung, members of the Township Administration Council, relevant departmental officials, and Ward Administrator.— Aung Zaw Min
